If a scaler/crawler gets stuck in the mud, mud, water hole, snow or sand, another vehicle often has to help out with a rope.
Our developed kinetic recovery rope (called snatch strap or kinetic rope) for the scale/crawler area is the simplest and fastest recovery solution if there is a second vehicle and it is on a non-slip surface.
Why Elasticity/Kinetic?
Without elasticity, there is a very high point load at the recovery points (shackles, bumpers, etc.) and the risk of damage is very high.
In addition, the tension builds up slowly and relaxes suddenly after the vehicle has left the recovery site. It is not pulled any further as with a rigid rope, but rather remains in the area that is now accessible again.
The kinetic rope is also perfect for towing a vehicle that is no longer roadworthy off-road.
The connecting hooks are made of metal and are secured against being accidentally detached. These fit all common scale shackles. The rope can withstand a tensile load of at least 6 kg, which is enough to rescue a vehicle. Each rope is approx. 50 cm long and can be combined with a second one.
When expanded it becomes approx. 100 cm long.
