Top2Glue Primer for use with instant adhesive on difficult-to-bond materials
PP, PE, silicone, and Teflon® cannot be bonded without pretreatment. Bonding these materials with adhesive alone, without primer, will only result in a sticky bond, not a strong bond. The primer allows you to bond polyolefins (polyethylene, polypropylene), PTFE, silicone, and other difficult-to-bond materials.
Top2Glue Instant Adhesive Primer prepares the surface, significantly increases adhesion, and is recommended for use with Top2Glue cyanoacrylate adhesives.
Using Instant Adhesive Primer:
When bonding polyamide, PP, PE, silicone, and Teflon®, you should apply a primer before starting the bonding process. This ensures better adhesion of the adhesive. Allow the primer to dry sufficiently before applying the adhesive.
Apply a thin layer of primer to the surfaces to be bonded and allow it to dry for a few seconds. Apply the adhesive and press the parts together. It will set after 1-2 minutes. A high final strength is achieved after 24 hours.
