Top2Glue Superglue Granules - Gap-Filling - Fine Crystalline
Is a fine-crystalline special granule with an adhesion-promoting surface coating.
To improve the filling properties of superglues and industrial adhesives for filling, molding, reinforcing, and bridging.
Excellent gap-filling capacity, instant reaction, and hardening, usually in just 5 seconds.
The set weld seam can be sanded, drilled, sawed, and even painted.
With the Top Granules and thin-set Top Superglue (not included), you can repair even where regular superglue fails.
Please note that elevated temperatures occur at the bonding site during the adhesive's reaction time.
Build up the filler in layers of up to 2-3 mm, otherwise the thin-set adhesive may harden before reaching deeper layers.
As always when handling chemical products, ensure adequate ventilation in the workplace and observe the usual protective measures.
Cleanliness and dry surfaces are particularly important when working with the granules. If a gap needs to be closed, first remove any loose debris or dirt. Then fill the gap with the granules and then soak them with a few drops of thin superglue. (Caution: Do not inhale the resulting fumes.) After a few seconds, the bonded area is fully cured and can be further processed by drilling or sanding.
